01 · The practice

Therapy at the pace of a
real relationship.

Solace is a small practice by design. Nine clinicians. A single administrator who knows you by name. Full-length sessions that begin on time and never feel rushed.

01

No algorithmic matching.

Consultations with the clinical lead shape your referral. A person, not a quiz.

02

Notes are yours.

Your narrative notes are legible, exportable, and released to any future care-giver on request.

03

No productized upsells.

We do not sell apps, courses, or journaling kits. Therapy is the product. That is the whole product.

04

We will tell you when to leave.

When your work with Solace is complete, we will say so — and help you move on well.

02 · Modalities

Four ways in.

You do not need to know which is right. Your first conversation with the clinical lead is about finding the doorway that fits.

01 / 4

Individual Psychotherapy

A relational, depth-oriented therapy. We do not treat symptoms; we sit with the person who has them until the symptoms begin to speak.

50-minute sessions. Weekly or biweekly.Learn more
02 / 4

Couples & Relationships

Emotion-focused and Gottman-informed work for couples repairing trust, rebuilding intimacy, or deciding together what comes next.

75-minute sessions. Two clinicians if helpful.Learn more

Psychiatric Consultation

Careful, conservative prescribing integrated with your therapy — not a separate transaction. Annual reviews are built into the care plan.

A letter from our director
"We do not promise you will feel better in six weeks. We promise that, if you stay, you will know yourself differently — and that knowing is the thing healing grows out of."

03 · Clinicians

Nine clinicians. Chosen slowly.

Each is trained in at least two modalities. Each sees a capped caseload so that nobody is lost in a queue.

Before you write to us.

  • Solace is an out-of-network practice. We provide itemized superbills every month for PPO reimbursement, and we can run a benefits check on your behalf before your first session. A limited number of sliding-scale spots are held in each clinician's caseload.
